CHADA KATAVI PEOPLE

Peter Brack and Nicola Hawes have been with Nomad since 2007. Initially our relief camp managers, they spent their first two years working in all of our camps, getting a very good look at the different areas where we operate.

Both came to work for Nomad from Botswana where they'd been working for several years prior. Peter, originally from Switzerland, was a profesional guide in the Okavango Delta for 7 years, before spending two years dedicated to Wild Dog research in the Moremi Game Reserve.

Nicola, born in New Zealand, has a background in the hospitality industry working in Japan, Australia and then London before coming to Africa. She worked in the Sabi Sands for two years, then moved to Namibia before arriving in Botswana in 2002. Like Peter she was also involved in the Wild Dog research before moving up to Tanzania with him. She also holds a Botswana professional guides licence.

They are now based primarily in Chada Katavi, and look forward to welcoming you.
